North Central Institute
We're taking a break from weddings today to post our most resent commercial, which we shot and edited for North Central Institute. I had heard of NCI before, but until they contacted us for video services, I had no idea they were located right here in Clarksville. I love when businesses keep it local, so I was thrilled when they booked us for this commercial, instead of hiring out of town videographers. Check it out:

Forever Young
The Young's spent their wedding day smiling and laughing, and I couldn't have asked for anything more! I love a happy couple and Julie & Clark were such a pleasure to film. Here's a little preview of what's to come in their wedding day films - I can't wait to edit all of their footage, especially their gorgeous waterfront ceremony.
Don't forget to click here for a sneak peak of their wedding photos from the ever fabulous Bethany Ann Photography!

Jac & Houston!
I loved this wedding! Jac & Houston recently hosted a classic, country chic wedding, and I enjoyed every minute of it! They are the sweetest, nicest couple and I was so excited to get together with their photographer, Joan of Art Photography, to create a multimedia film for their wedding day. We edited our video footage with fabulous photos from Joan to highlight all of the wonderful moments that made Jac & Houston's wedding day so special!

2011 Miss River Queen
This was the 3rd year in a row we've been invited to film the Miss River Queen & Teen Pageant, which takes place every year right here in Clarksville, TN. We love being a part of the local community and I'm so honored when we are asked to film local events, including the Miss River Queen & Teen Pageant. This year was even more exciting for us when (SPOILER ALERT!) we happened to know the winner of the Miss River Teen title. Sarah Gross has modeled for us many-a-times as a Bride's Boutique model and we were super excited for her! Below is our highlights film from the pageant, and if you're interested, copies of the pageant DVD are available for purchase for $20. Contact us at info@turningpointproductions.com for more info. Enjoy!

Good Day (Gown Shoot)
So, if you haven't had a chance to check out the new Featured Gown Shoot on ClarksvilleBrides.com, you must go check it out now! Go ahead...I'll wait. :) Seriously, click here to check it out.
Maybe a month before the shoot, I had asked Laura, of Laura Kay Photography, if I could come along and film her photographing the models & dresses and create a little multimedia. She was down so I showed up at her house on a super Sunday for a seriously awesome backyard gown shoot. You can read more about the shoot on Laura's blog (click here to check it out). The gowns were provided by The Bride's Boutique and decor by Elements Event Planning & Design Firm. Everything turned out perfectly and I'm so happy that I came along so I could create this little multimedia film below. Enjoy!

She loves it!
I've shot WITH my photographer friend Bethany many times, but last fall was the first time I shot AT her. :) She wanted a promo film to show off her mad photog skills and I love filming & editing multimedia's, so of course, I was down! We shot a day after session for one of her previous bride & groom's - it was fall, it was farm, it was fabulous! Then this past winter, Bethany set up an urban engagement shoot with one of her soon-to-be bride & groom's. It turned out SO perfectly! It really shows off her talents, shooting 2 completely different couples, in 2 completely different settings - country and city. I love the final product, but more importantly, Bethany loves it! :)

Easy as 1, 2, 3
I LOVED this wedding. Heather & Alberto were so sweet and so fun, and they probably had my favorite reception music to date. :) They got married on a Wednesday back in December - it was my first Wednesday wedding and I was curious about the date selection, until I heard Heather's mom's toast (included in their highlights video) explaining that her parents had been married 54 years ago that day. How cool is that?? They had a beautiful ceremony followed by a crazy fun reception, including a photo booth, mariachi band, and all the 90s music one could hope for! I hope you enjoy their highlights film as much as I enjoyed being a part of their wedding day!
