It's that time of year again! Seniors are getting ready to graduate from high school and go on to college. For us, that means it's sport's highlights season! High school athletes who are hoping to play in college need highlight reels to send to colleges, so they often come to us with their footage from recent games, and we edit the best shots together to make their highlights videos. Thanks to YouTube, most athletes don't have to send DVDs to recruiters any more; we upload the highlights film to YouTube and then the players can send the link to college recruiters so they can watch it online.
Here's a sample football highlights film that we edited last year. (reminder: this is not our footage - just our editing)
The above video was for a junior at Clarksville Academy. Because, in football, it's hard to know which player to watch at the beginning of a play, the client asked me to highlight the player with a red square. We customize each sport's highlights film at the client's request. Below is our most recent highlights film. This one is for a senior at Clarksville High School, and the client asked that his footage be edited to a requested song.
If you're in the market for a sport's highlights film, please contact us at 931-920-4220 or e-mail info@turningpointproductions.com. Our sport's highlights packages include the customized edited film on DVD and uploaded to YouTube.
Last weekend, we had the pleasure of filming the 2013 Miss River Queen and Miss River Teen Pageant at APSU. This was our fifth year filming the pageant and we always have a great time at the event. Congrats to Miss River Teen, Hope Parker, and Miss River Queen, Sarah Gross! The new Miss River Queen and Miss River Teen are currently presiding over the Rivers and Spires Festival here in Clarksville.
The winners of the pageant get a copy of the pageant DVD in their prize package but copies of the DVD can also be purchased. If you are interested in ordering a copy of this year's Miss River Queen and Teen Pageant DVD, contact us at info@turningpointproductions.com or 931-920-9220.
Here is our highlights film from this year's pageant. Enjoy!

We filmed another virtual tour a couple days ago for the Felicia Long Team. I. Love. This. House. The layout is so amazing! From the outside, this home doesn't look nearly as big as it is. Inside is 2,665 square feet of awesomeness! My favorite part of the house is the second story. There are 4 bedrooms that all merge at a huge bonus room. It's amazing. It's so easy to see a family with kids living there. Other features of the house that I love are the main floor master bedroom (laundry room adjacent!), Jack and Jill bathroom upstairs, and the open concept kitchen and living room. The neighborhood is amazing too. I'm a huge fan of sidewalks plus they have a community playground and a stocked pond.

A couple weeks ago, we filmed a virtual home tour for the Felicia Long Team. The home is SO beautiful - and if you happen to be looking for a home here in Clarksville, I believe it's still on the market. One of my favorite parts of the home has to be the master bathroom - I love slate tile and I especially love the His & Hers walk-in master closets. I'm definitely going to be looking for separate closets in our next home! Another perk to this house is the bonus room which includes a Sony home theatre system & Bose surround sound - we're Sony & Bose snobs so that's ideal for us! Sadly, we're not on the market for a new home, but I know someone is going to fall in love with this house, especially when they get a look at the backyard! You can watch the virtual tour of the home below. We really enjoyed filming and editing this project and we're looking forward to showcasing more homes in the future.
