Jackie & Mike
Jackie and Mike got married last month on Jackie's family farm. They held their ceremony in front of a gazebo on the farm, while their guests sat perched on hay bails watching the happy couple commit their lives to one another. Their reception was in a huge, beautiful barn, surrounded by trees and fields. It was everything about southern weddings that I love! Jackie and Mike are such a happy, easy going couple - this laid back farm setting was just perfect for their wedding day!

Burdoc Farms
Lots of late night editing sessions this week, working on Jackie and Mike's wedding films. The happy couple got married earlier this month at the brand spanking new venue Burdoc Farms! I'm not quite finished with Jackie and Mike's wedding films yet, so since I can't share their footage, I'm just gonna rant and rave about Burdoc Farms. Let me tell you - it is TOTALLY worth the drive to get to this new venue. It's gorgeous! I really loved it. So here's my top five favorite things about Burdoc Farms:
1. It's new. :) I know all the wedding vendors out there feel me on this - sometimes it's just so nice working at a new place and getting a new experience.
2. It's big! There's plenty of room to move around, plenty of space for all your wedding day festivities, plenty of places for photo opps, ample parking (whoop whoop!) etc.
3. The barn. It's epic, and gorgeous, and perfect for large receptions.
4. The view. It's just so pretty. I couldn't stop filming the trees and the fields and the landscape - it's amazing.
5. The owners. They're fun, they're happy, and they are definitely people who would be wonderful to be around on your wedding day. BONUS - they love animals! (you can click here to read all about that) :)
Alright that's all for now. Back to editing. Enjoy this adorable photo by Elizabeth Thompson Photography taken in the barn at Burdoc Farms:

Fire & Ice
WAY back in June, we filmed an ice carving demonstration by Fire & Ice at the ClarksvilleBrides.com Summer Social. At the time, we were well into wedding season so we were busy editing wedding videos and we never got a chance to share the footage. Well, now that we are all caught up with editing, we put a little demo film together. It was so fun watching Ross Wilson do the original carving - it's definitely worth a minute of your time to watch a sped-up version of the carving! Special thanks to Bethany Ann Photography for lending us some of her photos to edit together with our footage.

Stephanie & Kinley
Stephanie & Kinley's wedding day was so much fun! The sun was shining all morning at their ceremony venue, Sugar Grove Carriage House, and then out of no where a storm came in right before the ceremony! But, the happy couple didn't let that get them down - everyone pulled out their umbrellas and we moved on with the day! I loved so many things about this wedding day - Stephanie's entrance on the horse & carriage, the beautiful blue color of the bridesmaids dresses, working with one of my favorite photographers, Joan of Art Photography, discovering a new-to-me reception venue, Hopkinsville Country Club, and more! Stephanie & Kinley have such a fun, great disposition and I think that really shows in their multimedia film. Enjoy!

Candice & Mark
Candice and Mark's wedding day was perfect! They were such an easy couple to work with - they were so happy and so fun - we really couldn't have asked for a better bride and groom to film! They had a wonderful ceremony, with a fun, memorable vow typo, followed by the most bird seed filled leave that we have ever filmed! Their reception at was awesome - we loved the openness of the venue, topped off with livestock and a live band. :) Everything was really amazing and we loved editing it all together for Candice and Mark! Below is their Wedding Day film. Candice had mentioned to me before the wedding that Joel Brown would be playing at their reception. They were also the band that was playing the night that Candice and Mark met, so I made sure to include a Joel Brown song in their Wedding Day film. Enjoy!
