Burdoc Farms

Lots of late night editing sessions this week, working on Jackie and Mike's wedding films. The happy couple got married earlier this month at the brand spanking new venue Burdoc Farms!  I'm not quite finished with Jackie and Mike's wedding films yet, so since I can't share their footage, I'm just gonna rant and rave about Burdoc Farms. Let me tell you - it is TOTALLY worth the drive to get to this new venue. It's gorgeous! I really loved it. So here's my top five favorite things about Burdoc Farms:

1. It's new. :) I know all the wedding vendors out there feel me on this - sometimes it's just so nice working at a new place and getting a new experience.
2. It's big! There's plenty of room to move around, plenty of space for all your wedding day festivities, plenty of places for photo opps, ample parking (whoop whoop!) etc.
3. The barn. It's epic, and gorgeous, and perfect for large receptions.
4. The view. It's just so pretty. I couldn't stop filming the trees and the fields and the landscape - it's amazing.
5. The owners. They're fun, they're happy, and they are definitely people who would be wonderful to be around on your wedding day. BONUS - they love animals! (you can click here to read all about that) :)

Alright that's all for now. Back to editing. Enjoy this adorable photo by Elizabeth Thompson Photography taken in the barn at Burdoc Farms:

Editing, editing, editing...

Now that wedding season is in high gear, we are in full editing mode! I don't have any new films to share just quite yet, but I do have some B-E-A-utiful photos via Bethany Ann Photography from our May 11th wedding. Lauren & Chris got married at Smith-Trahern Mansion and held their reception at WaterStreet Events Center. I always love working with Bethany Ann Photography and I couldn't wait to share some of her fab photos from their wedding. Enjoy!

The bling!

Ugh! This photo is amazing! Great job Bethany Ann Photography!

And last but not least a little decor by Elements Event Planning & Design. Here they decked out WaterStreet for Chris & Lauren's reception and the details are divine!

Stay tuned next month for our video highlights from Chris & Lauren's wedding day!

WaterStreet Events Center

Last fall, we filmed Allison & Daniel's super fun wedding reception at WaterStreet Events Center. We edited footage from their reception, coupled with gorgeous photos by Shea Halliburton Photography, to create this demo for WaterStreet. It highlights the beautiful venue, along with decor by Elements Event Planning & Design, who also manage WaterStreet. I love filming at this venue. There's always plenty of space for the wedding party and guests to eat, sit, dance, and party!
