So, now that we've settle in here in Florida, I've decided to change my business name and we're now Emerald Coast Films! We are still filming and editing events in the Clarksville-Nashville-Hopkinsville area (and I love a good reason to go visit all our friends up there!) but now we're also serving the panhandle area. Coming Soon: Katherine & Joshua

Well, this was my last wedding in Clarksville this year. I hope to book more up there next year so I can go visit my friends and all the awesome wedding vendors I've met over the years. I think it was really fitting that Katherine and Josh's wedding took place at Madison Street United Methodist Church and the Clarksville Country Club. Out of all the venues in Clarksville, we shot at that church and that reception venue the most. It really was the perfect way to finish my time living up there. And I couldn't have asked for a better wedding day to film! Katherine and Josh's wedding day was perfect - the bridal party, family & friends were awesome, the weather was great, and everything worked out perfectly. I can't wait to get to work on their films, and hopefully I'll be back at MSUMC and the Country Club soon for another amazing wedding day!

We've Moved!

So, after 10 years of being based out of Clarksville, TN, I'm excited to announce that we have moved to the Emerald Coast in Florida! We are still filming and editing events in the Clarksville-Nashville-Hopkinsville area (and I love a good reason to go visit all our friends up there!) but now we're also serving the panhandle area. My husband and I actually had a beach wedding so it's a fun change of pace to get to film destination weddings down here.

Emily + Brian

Time has flown by this summer! It seems like just yesterday we were filming Emily and Brian's wedding day at The Tanglewood House. I have second shot as a photographer (for the always wonderful Bethany Ann Photography *shameless plug*) at this venue before but this was my first time filming there. Everything was perfect that day, from Emily and Brian's outdoor ceremony to their intimate reception inside The Tanglewood House. There were so many wonderful details on their wedding day - it was a lot of fun capturing and editing them all together.

Fox Crossing & Crosswinds Homes

It's been a fun few weeks! We recently shot 8 homes for Lindy Schmittou of Reliant Realty and then took 10 days off to go visit some family, so now it's time to catch up on some blogging! Fire & Ice

WAY back in June, we filmed an ice carving demonstration by Fire & Ice at the ClarksvilleBrides.com Summer Social. At the time, we were well into wedding season so we were busy editing wedding videos and we never got a chance to share the footage. Well, now that we are all caught up with editing, we put a little demo film together. It was so fun watching Ross Wilson do the original carving - it's definitely worth a minute of your time to watch a sped-up version of the carving! Special thanks to Bethany Ann Photography for lending us some of her photos to edit together with our footage.

Lauren & Chris

I'm so excited to share Chris and Lauren's highlights film! Their ceremony at the historic Smith-Trahern Mansion was so intimate and so perfect! I'm so happy that they invited us to be a part of their wedding day and to capture such beautiful moments for them. After the ceremony, we headed over to the always-fabulous WaterStreet Events Center for a fun and happy reception, celebrating Chris and Lauren's new marriage. We really enjoyed filming Lauren and Chris and their friends and family throughout the wedding day, and we loved piecing all of their footage together to show off all the moments that made their wedding so special!

A few weeks ago we filmed the "Own the Floor" recital by REWIND Academy of Dance. All of the performers did any amazing job - we had a great time filming & editing the recital. Joan of Art!

We're busy editing today but I just wanted to share some photos from a recent wedding we shot with Joan of Art Photography. This was one of our special multimedia projects where Joan shot the photos while we filmed and we'll edit the video and photos together for the bride & groom. These photos are from Stephanie & Kinley's wedding day last month. They had their ceremony at Sugar Grove Carriage House (check out the horse & carriage - see below!) and they held their reception at the Hopkinsville Country Club. I LOVE editing multimedias so I can't wait to mesh our video with Joan's fabulous photos to create Stephanie & Kinley's wedding day film.

Hey June!

It's June! So for us that means we're well into wedding season, PLUS it's time for dance recitals! This year (tomorrow actually), we're filming "Own the Floor" by REWIND Academy of Dance at the APSU Clement Auditorium. We're super familiar with shooting there since that's where we film the annual Miss River Queen & Teen Pageant, so we're excited to head back to the auditorium tomorrow for another event. Now that wedding season is in high gear, we are in full editing mode! I don't have any new films to share just quite yet, but I do have some B-E-A-utiful photos via Bethany Ann Photography from our May 11th wedding. Lauren & Chris got married at Smith-Trahern Mansion and held their reception at WaterStreet Events Center. Nicole & Nick: The Mosaic

Nicole & Nick had such a happy wedding day! They were so laid back and so fun, and together with their bridal party, they really set the mood for the whole day. There are so many wonderful moments from their wedding day that I wanted to edit into their highlights film - from Nicole's father & son walking her down the aisle to the bridal party's flash mob dance to their beautiful sky lanterns - the whole day was amazing and I'm so glad that we were there to capture it for them.

I am so excited to share this multimedia film from Molly & Dave's vow renewal! 2012 Miss River Queen

Here's our highlights film from the 2012 Miss River Queen & Miss River Teen Pageant that we shot last weekend at APSU. This was our fourth year filming the pageant and we are so excited that we were invited back again to film the event. It's always a lot of fun trying to guess who will win, and this year was a tough one! There were lots of amazing delegates - check out the video below to watch all the ladies in action!
