Fire & Ice

WAY back in June, we filmed an ice carving demonstration by Fire & Ice at the ClarksvilleBrides.com Summer Social. At the time, we were well into wedding season so we were busy editing wedding videos and we never got a chance to share the footage. Well, now that we are all caught up with editing, we put a little demo film together. It was so fun watching Ross Wilson do the original carving - it's definitely worth a minute of your time to watch a sped-up version of the carving! Special thanks to Bethany Ann Photography for lending us some of her photos to edit together with our footage.

We recently shot this behind the scenes video of a styled shoot by Bethany Ann Photography. The shoot features country chic and vintage wedding ideas and includes linens from Clarksville Linen Rental and decor and design by Elements Event Planning & Design. This shoot was recently featured on ClarksvilleBrides.com (click here to check it out), and we hope you enjoy our behind the scenes film!

Editing, editing, editing...

Now that wedding season is in high gear, we are in full editing mode! I don't have any new films to share just quite yet, but I do have some B-E-A-utiful photos via Bethany Ann Photography from our May 11th wedding. Lauren & Chris got married at Smith-Trahern Mansion and held their reception at WaterStreet Events Center. I always love working with Bethany Ann Photography and I couldn't wait to share some of her fab photos from their wedding. Enjoy!

Ugh! This photo is amazing! Great job Bethany Ann Photography!

And last but not least a little decor by Elements Event Planning & Design. Here they decked out WaterStreet for Chris & Lauren's reception and the details are divine!

Stay tuned next month for our video highlights from Chris & Lauren's wedding day!

Top Ten

I am so excited to share this multimedia film from Molly & Dave's vow renewal! Lots of surprises in this film, including an AMAZING first dance, the Top Ten Reasons God Created Eve, a little bit of Blue Steel, and more! We always have fun working with Bethany Ann Photography, and she gave me some super awesome photos that I paired with our footage to create this highlights film for Molly & Dave. Enjoy!

NEW Multimedia!

A couple Saturdays ago, I filmed a multimedia wedding with the ever fabulous Bethany Ann Photography. I'll be combining Bethany's photos with my footage to create a multimedia film for Molly & Dave. The happy couple renewed their vows at the Soldier's Chapel on post and had a super fun reception at the Joe Swing recreational facility. I'm not done editing their film yet, but I just had to share some of Bethany's photos from the day! Here's Molly & Dave right after their first look:
Check out Molly's killer shoes!
Delicious AND beautiful:
And finally, I can't WAIT to edit footage from their first dance. IT. WAS. AWESOME.

She loves it!

I've shot WITH my photographer friend Bethany many times, but last fall was the first time I shot AT her. :) She wanted a promo film to show off her mad photog skills and I love filming & editing multimedia's, so of course, I was down! We shot a day after session for one of her previous bride & groom's - it was fall, it was farm, it was fabulous! Then this past winter, Bethany set up an urban engagement shoot with one of her soon-to-be bride & groom's. It turned out SO perfectly! It really shows off her talents, shooting 2 completely different couples, in 2 completely different settings - country and city. I love the final product, but more importantly, Bethany loves it! :)

Rick & Bethany's Trailer

Back in October, a couple of our best friends got married...to each other. :) Rick and Bethany are an awesome couple and it was, by far, the most fun I've ever had shooting preceremony footage. I believe the word "epic" was uttered at least a hundred times that day...mostly by me. This trailer highlights a little of the aforementioned preceremony footage and their beautiful ceremony, located on an actual runway at Bethany's parents home.

(P.S. You might recognize Bethany from Bethany Ann Photography) Shameless plug!

Erin & Scott's Reception

Wow! We have been slackin' on the bloggin' this year! Good news is we have plenty of films to share. First up is a reception highlights film from Erin & Scott's wedding at Cedarwood way back in May. Lots of dancing in this film - including some clips of the ever-popular Bridesmaids Dance.

NOTE: VIDEO QUALITY GREATLY REDUCED FOR UPLOAD TO THE BLOG

One of my favorite details from the day had to be their cake, which was designed to match Erin's dress. It was a traditional tiered wedding cake, decorated with a ribbon and brooch identical to the ones on the dress. You can check out the dress and cake in the reception film (above).

Bethany of Bethany Ann Photography shot with us that day and took some amazing photos for us. We've been updating our site and client viewing site with the new photos. Thanks Bethany!

Client viewing site is up!

Our client viewing site, www.ATurningPointProduction.com, is back up.

Because the site was hacked, and we had to re-upload it anyway, we decided to update the site with new photos courtesy of Joan of Art Photography and Bethany Ann Photography.

Due to the volume of weddings that we've filmed over the last few years, we only re-uploaded films from 2009 and 2010. If you are a bride or groom from a previous year, and would like your film re-uploaded, please contact us and we will be happy to do so!

This is our final segment of the Multimedia Fashion Show film from the ClarksvilleBrides.com Wedding and Event Showcase. Here we feature gowns from Something Blue Bridal Shoppe, photography by Bethany Ann Photography, video by us, Turning Point Productions, and it was all shot at the Magnolia House Bed & Breakfast.

Note: Video quality greatly reduced for upload to the blog.
